pretty little things

in the past few weeks i have gotten totally obsessed with the decoration of my future (1 week!) memphis apartment and bidding on oh-so-pretty but utterly functionless objects (including these) on ebay. what, pray tell, am i going to do with a phone in an apartment with no connection, or a doorstop on a carpeted floor? someone stop me before i turn into my grandmother and have a house full of knick-knacks.
